League of Footballers ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application ("App").
By using the App, you consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.

2.1. Device Information (Collected Automatically)
- Device Identifier: A unique device identifier (e.g., IDFV on iOS, Android ID) used to create and maintain your account
- Device Model: The model of your mobile device (e.g., iPhone 15, Samsung Galaxy S24)
- Operating System: The OS and version running on your device (e.g., iOS 17.0, Android 14)
- Time Zone: Your device's time zone setting, used to serve daily games at the correct local time
- Language: Your device's language preference, used to display content in your preferred language
- Country Code: Your device's country setting, used to personalize league ordering
- IP Address: Collected automatically by our servers for security and diagnostic purposes
2.2. User Preferences
- Favorite Team: Your selected favorite football team
- Sound Settings: Your sound on/off preference
- Notification Preferences: Whether you have opted in or out of push notifications
2.3. Gameplay Data
- Game Activity: Records of games started, guesses made, hints used, and time spent per guess
- Game Scores: Your scores, correct answers, number of attempts, and completion times
- Streaks: Consecutive game completion data
2.4. Push Notification Token
- FCM Token: A Firebase Cloud Messaging token used solely to deliver push notifications to your device. This token does not contain personal information and is only used for notification delivery.
3. Information We Do NOT Collect
We want to be transparent about what we do not collect:
- We do not collect your real name (unless you voluntarily provide it)
- We do not collect your email address (unless you voluntarily provide it)
- We do not collect your precise location (GPS) data
- We do not collect payment or credit card information — all purchases are processed by Apple or Google
- We do not collect contacts, photos, camera, or microphone data
- We do not track you across other apps or websites
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may collect information:

5. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- Provide the Service: To create your account, deliver daily games, track scores, and maintain your progress
- Personalization: To display content in your language, adjust game timing to your timezone, and prioritize leagues relevant to your country
- Push Notifications: To send you notifications about new daily games and relevant updates (if you opt in)
- Premium Features: To verify and manage your premium subscription status
- Advertisements: To display advertisements through Google AdMob in the free version
- Analytics & Improvement: To understand usage patterns and improve the App experience
- Security: To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
6. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We may share information only in the following circumstances:
- Third-Party Service Providers: With the services listed in Section 4, strictly for the purposes described
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or governmental regulation
- Protection of Rights: To protect our rights, safety, or property, or that of our users or the public
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction
7. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide you with the services. Specifically:
- Account Data: Retained for as long as you use the App. If you stop using the App, your data may be retained for up to 24 months before deletion.
- Game Data: Retained for as long as your account is active to maintain your scores and streaks
- Log Data: Server logs containing IP addresses are retained for a maximum of 90 days
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us (see Section 12).
8. Data Security
We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:
- HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit
- HMAC-based request signature validation to prevent tampering
- Secure server infrastructure with restricted access
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
9. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
